Switchboard

The main duty of switchboard staff is to provide an effective and efficient switchboard where telephone calls are delivered and appropriate information is provided. They are the first point of contact when dealing with the community through incoming telephone calls or directing patient and visitors when arriving at the health service.  Switchboard staff provide a service to the public, patients and staff of Western District Health Service three campuses, Hamilton, Coleraine & Penshurst.
