The WDHS Work Experience (WEX) Program has been cancelled until further notice, due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. We will be in contact with each school when we are in a position to continue the program.

Program Details

WDHS participates in the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development Work Experience Scheme.  The scheme is the short term placement of secondary school students with employers, to provide insights into the industry and the workplace in which they are located.  Students are placed with employers primarily to observe and learn – not to undertake activities which require extensive training or experience.
