Western District Health Service facilitates placements for students as part of their undergraduate and postgraduate studies in several disciplines. We host many experienced and dedicated staff members who provide a high standard of supervision and preceptorship and contribute to the professional development of students at varying skill levels, through coaching, mentoring and acting as role models.
Placements are currently available in the following disciplines:

- Enrolled Nursing (acute and aged care)
- Personal care work (Cert III and Cert IV)
- Lifestyle Coordination (Diversional Therapy)
- Medicine
- Physiotherapy
- Occupational therapy
- Dietetics
- Pharmacy
- Podiatry
- Health information and
- Community services.
Placements in other areas may also be available upon negotiation.
