Understanding Ovarian Cancer:
Ovarian cancer occurs when a malignant tumour develops in one or both ovaries. It is primarily diagnosed in women over 50 but can also affect younger women. Sadly, ovarian cancer is the eighth most common cancer in Australia, with around 1,532 women diagnosed each year.
