Let’s Talk About Aged Care – Join the Conversation!

Join us on Thursday, March 27, at 2pm at the Education Centre Auditorium, Hamilton Base Hospital, as we discuss how aged care can work for you—not just happen to you.

The event marks an exciting new chapter for WDHS’s aged care services, following a refresh of its brand, shaped by valuable input from consumers, families, and the broader community.

We’ve listened carefully to what people want from aged care—whether they’re receiving care now, supporting a loved one, or planning for the future. At WDHS, we want to shift the perception of aged care from something that simply ‘happens to you’ to something that actively supports the life you want to live.

The event will feature a guest speaker, who will discuss significant reforms coming to residential care facilities across Australia, to help the community understand how these reforms will enhance care quality, choice, and independence for older people. The event will also provide an opportunity for the community to ask questions and learn how WDHS is responding to these reforms.
