The WDHS Drive-thru is closing, effective Thursday 13th October 2022.
The pandemic declaration ends at 11.59pm on Wednesday, October 12 – and Victorians will no longer be required to isolate after testing positive to COVID-19, with isolation for positive cases now ‘strongly recommended’.
Due to the low numbers of people requiring PCR tests (with community members instead opting for rapid antigen testing) and given the change in isolation requirements, the WDHS Drive-thru will close following this Wednesday’s clinic.
A big thank you to our dedicated Drive-thru team and the community members who have accessed this service over the last couple of years, to help keep our community safe.
We ask that the community continue to Rapid Antigen (RA) test if they are unwell. RA tests are available at local pharmacies and supermarkets.
WDHS local support hotline information service recording – 1800 313 021 for people who have tested positive (or are waiting for their results) and are feeling unwell.
Please note, if you are in need of urgent medical attention, you must call 000.
