WDHS participates in the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development Work Experience Scheme. The scheme is the short term placement of secondary school students with employers, to provide insights into the industry and the workplace in which they are located. Students are placed with employers primarily to observe and learn – not to undertake activities which require extensive training or experience.
WDHS offers students the opportunity to undertake work experience in one of the following programs (subject to availability):

* Students are requested to bring bathers and a towel in order to participate in a hydrotherapy session in the pool.
