Western District Health Service (WDHS) was recently contacted by Mr Ken Moore, a long‑term donor and valued supporter of our organisation, who expressed a wish to thank all WDHS staff for their ongoing dedication to the community.
Mr Moore shared that he has heard many wonderful stories over the years from people who have received care from WDHS. These stories of compassion, professionalism and commitment inspired him to make a small but heartfelt gesture of appreciation to acknowledge the difference our staff make every day.
To show his thanks — and the community’s — Mr Moore generously donated hot cross buns, which were shared with staff across the organisation on Easter Thursday.
Mr Moore attended in person to assist with handing out the buns and to personally thank staff for the care and support they continually provide to the people of our region.
WDHS sincerely thanks Mr Ken Moore for his ongoing generosity and for recognising the dedication of our staff. Gestures like this reinforce the strong connection between the health service and the community we serve.
