WDHS Weekly COVID-19 case update April 14, 2022
Case numbers are still high in the community, we ask everyone to take precautions, isolate and get tested, to keep themselves and others safe this Easter. If you are unsure about the latest testing and isolation requirements, please click the link in this post.
• 128 people in our region were notified of positive PCR & Rapid Antigen results – 36 PCR and 92 Rapid antigen (weekly data).
• 2,169 total cases in our region (year to date).
• 12 people are now being cared for in the Hospital in the Home (HITH) program (as at April 14). The HITH program provides care (in the home) to positive, or suspected positive cases who are unwell, or vulnerable.
• 1 person is receiving care at Hamilton Base Hospital (as at April 14)

The WDHS Drive-thru will be CLOSED Good Friday & Easter Sunday and will OPEN Easter Saturday & Monday, 9am – 11am. From Tuesday 19, it will return to Monday – Saturday, 9am – 11am (Closed Sunday & Public Holidays). Please note – PCR test results are returned by Dorevitch Pathology within 48 hours. If you have not received your COVID-19 test results after 72 hours you can now call the Dorevitch COVID-19 Results Hotline on (03) 9667 9227 (8am – 6pm).
