Have a cuppa on us

WDHS Executive Assistant Georgie Dunn exchanges her Fox Coffee Voucher with Barista Kate Barber at the HBH Green Bean Café.

Staff at Western District Health Service (WDHS) have been treated to a free cup of coffee thanks to a generous donation by a local business.

Local business owners Mark and Kristina Fox, have donated 200 cups of coffee to be shared between the Hamilton, Coleraine and Penshurst campus staff.

The coffees have been purchased from local milk bars in Coleraine and Penshurst with staff at Hamilton Base Hospital receiving theirs from the Green Bean Café at the hospital.

WDHS Community Liaison Manager, Brigid Kelly says the ‘acts of kindness’ from local businesses and individuals flowing on to staff at WDHS has been extraordinary.

“The feeling of good will towards all of us at WDHS has been incredible. To be shown so much appreciation by the public has been really heart-warming and a wonderful morale boost to everyone at this extremely busy time.

This kind gesture also means that other small businesses are being supported, which is an added bonus. The free coffees will be shared amongst both clinical and non-clinical staff between the three campuses”. Ms Kelly said.
