Donations
You can support Western District Health Service (WDHS) in delivering top-quality patient care by making a donation. WDHS relies on the generosity of donors, bequests, and fundraising efforts to meet the costs of upgrading essential equipment and infrastructure, ensuring we continue to provide the highest standard of healthcare.
Your donation, whether unrestricted or targeted, plays a crucial role in our ability to maintain and enhance our services. Unrestricted gifts allow us the flexibility to address immediate needs, such as purchasing new or upgrading outdated medical equipment. Targeted donations enable you to support specific areas of our Health Service that are important to you. Every contribution helps us build a stronger, more resilient Health Service for our growing regional community. All donations over $2 are tax-deductible.
If you would like to make an electronic transfer or discuss your donation further, please contact Community Liaison on (03) 5551 8540 if you have any further questions.
If you would like to make an online donation, please choose how you would like to donate by selecting a category below:
Memorial Donations
Memorial donations in lieu of flowers can be directed to a specific area of WDHS, such as Palliative Care. To arrange donation envelopes for a funeral, please contact our Community Liaison Community Liaison at (03) 5551 8540
Bequests
Leaving a bequest in your will is a meaningful way to create a lasting legacy while still providing for your loved ones. After making provisions for your family, you may choose to support Western District Health Service (WDHS) by leaving a percentage of your estate, a fixed dollar amount, or a specific asset. This generous act ensures that your funds or property benefit your chosen cause after your lifetime. Bequests can be unrestricted, allowing WDHS to apply the funds where they are most needed, or designated to a specific area of interest.
If you wish to name WDHS as a residuary beneficiary or would like more information on how to make a bequest, please contact Community Liaison at (03) 5551 8540
