The Planned Activity Group (PAG) or Adult Daycare is run on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30am to 3.00pm. The program aims to ensure the provision of safe individual quality care, which meets all regulations pertinent to health and Planned Activity Groups. It targets:
- community members seeking social interaction
- those who are frail or elderly
- people with a disability
The group meets at the Merino Community Health Centre for social interaction, card games, outings to community events, films, shopping trips and visits to other planned activity groups. The cost includes a two course lunch, morning and afternoon tea, transport to and from Centre if needed and all activities, with the exception of special events eg. movie tickets.
For further information contact the Planned Activity Group (PAG) Coordinator via reception.
A referral is not required, however a discussion of health issues with the PAGs Coordinator is preferred.
